Explore the world of HR.

Gain the skillset necessary to manage an organization's workforce effectively

Our Human Resources (HR) Technologies program encompasses a wide range of topics designed to equip students with the knowledge and skills necessary for managing an organization's workforce effectively.

The curriculum starts with an introduction to the fundamentals of HR, covering the history and evolution of the field, and the role of HR in today's business environment.

This program focuses on acquiring certifications from industry leading organizations including but not limited to SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, aPHR, PHR, SPHR & GPHR.

A wide range of in-demand and unique electives are also included in this program that will increase your employment marketability over other traditionally trained candidates.

Subject matter includes a deep dive into using Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as ChatGPT, Google Gemini and many other tools in your day-to-day job functions.

Key areas of study include recruitment and selection, where students learn about job analysis, sourcing candidates, selection methods, and the legal aspects of hiring.

Training and development is another critical component, focusing on how to assess training needs, design and implement training programs, and evaluate their effectiveness.

Compensation and benefits are also covered - teaching students about salary structures, incentive plans, benefits administration, and compliance with related laws. Employee relations is another vital subject, exploring topics like employee rights, labor relations, conflict resolution, and maintaining a positive work environment.

Performance management and strategic HR management are also studied, where students learn how HR policies and practices align with the overall business strategy.

Depending on chosen electives, the curriculum may include topics like diversity and inclusion, HR technology, international HR management, ethical issues in HR, the evolving nature of the workforce and workplace, and the impact of globalization on HR practices.

Throughout the curriculum, there's a strong emphasis on real-world application. This ensures that students not only understand the theoretical aspects of HR, but are also prepared to apply concepts in practical settings.

As an added benefit, if you are currently unemployed, you may qualify to have the entire program paid for, 100%, without any out-of-pocket costs to you. We are approved for WIOA, Trade Act, Section 30 and many other government grants. We also offer various other financing options.
