This curriculum commences with an introduction to AI, providing a broad overview of its evolution, key concepts, and the various types of AI technologies such as machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), and robotics. The focus then shifts to the practical applications of AI in the workplace vs. the actual development of AI applications.
We explore how AI can enhance decision-making processes, automate routine tasks, and optimize business operations.
Available electives include but are not limited to, using AI applications in human resources, sales, marketing, graphic design, finance, web development, content creation, social media, data analysis, IT, programming, project management, manufacturing, math, and more.
This program includes lessons on data ethics, privacy, and the importance of using data responsibly in the workplace. We address the challenges and limitations of AI in the workplace, such as dealing with biased algorithms, ensuring data security, and understanding the ethical and legal implications of AI use. These discussions are crucial for preparing students to anticipate and navigate potential pitfalls in using AI technologies.
Courses also explore the integration of AI into existing business processes. Students explore change management strategies, focusing on how to introduce AI technologies into an organization effectively. This includes understanding employee concerns, training staff to work alongside AI systems, and assessing the impact of AI on existing workflows.
