Our Architectural Design Technologies program teaches the required skills and applications used within the Architectural Design industry.
The core of our Architectural Design Technologies program focuses on primary subjects including the Architectural Design process, Architectural Graphics & Sketching, Physics, Construction Math, Trigonometry, Precalculus, Statics for Civil & Architectural Designers, Strength of Materials, Soil Mechanics, Structural Steel Design Principles, Surveying, Concrete Technology, and Engineering.
You may also choose to become a proficient 3D parametric solid modeler & detailer using the 3D Architectural CAD tool, Revit - or even earn an industry-recognized certification in Revit.
Optional electives may include Advanced Revit Architecture, Revit Structure, Autodesk Inventor, Adobe Photoshop, Blender, Calculus, Linear Algebra, Materials Science, Structural Analysis, Project Planning & Design, Technical Writing, Home Construction, Building Design & Construction, Residential Architecture, Architectural Visualization, Design of Small Homes & Energy-Efficient Buildings, Solar Design, Interior Design, Lighting & Modern Homes, Daylighting, Feng Shui, and Landscaping Design.
As a final bonus, our program may include Green Building Concepts. Start with a course in LEED Certification and choose optional industry-recognized LEED Certification learning tracks such as LEED AP Green Associate, BD+C, Homes, ID+C, ND, O+M, and ID&C.
