Our Interior Design training program is designed to provide both foundational knowledge and advanced techniques necessary for aspiring and practicing interior designers.
Students will explore courses on space planning, color theory, materials selection, lighting design, and computer-aided drafting (CAD) software - preparing them for a range of design challenges in residential, commercial, and specialized settings.
Each of the program's course topics help students learn how to layout interior areas efficiently while maintaining aesthetics, comfort, and code compliance. It will also teach students about the psychological and visual impact of color, how to create cohesive palettes, using lighting solutions to enhance spaces, and creating accurate technical drawings, realistic renderings, and virtual walkthroughs using industry-standard CAD softwares.
With an emphasis on sustainable practices and current industry standards, students will also learn how to integrate environmental considerations into the design process, work with a range of design technologies, and manage projects from concept to completion.
Students also have the opportunity to take elective courses designed to help them build real-world career skills, boost professional confidence, advance in their industry, and navigate the job market with success.
Elective topics include resume writing, interview techniques, portfolio creation, salary negotiation, public speaking, and business etiquette. Whether preparing for a job interview or aiming to advance in their current role, these elective courses help students learn skills they can apply throughout their career journey.
