Our Customer Service training program is designed to provide students with the critical skills and knowledge required to exceed expectations in customer-facing roles.
To start the program, students learn foundational industry knowledge - such as how to communicate effectively, manage customer expectations, resolve conflicts, and build lasting client relationships. The program also focuses on strong communication skills - including techniques for clear, empathetic, and professional interactions whether over the phone, via email or chat, or in person.
Moving on in the program, students explore advanced problem-solving and decision-making techniques, conflict resolution, de-escalation strategies, how to professionally handle complaints, and turning negative situations into positive outcomes. Students also learn about the importance of gathering and utilizing customer feedback to enhance overall service and improve business processes.
Students will get the opportunity to learn customer service software, application, programs, and platforms. Choose to learn about Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, Zendesk, Salesforce, Hubspot, Google Workspace, and beyond.
Other course topics may include remote customer service, chatbots, negotiation tactics, team collaboration, multi-cultural collaboration, diversity and inclusion, crisis management, customer satisfaction, business etiquette, leadership, artificial intelligence (AI), AI integration, or Microsoft courses - including Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel, OneNote, OneDrive, SharePoint, Access, PowerPoint, Project, Planner, Visio, Lists, and beyond.
Students also have the opportunity to take elective courses designed to help them build real-world career skills, boost professional confidence, advance in their industry, and navigate the job market with success. Electives cover topics including resume writing, interview techniques, portfolio creation, salary negotiation, public speaking, and business etiquette. Whether preparing for a job interview or aiming to advance in their current role, these elective courses help students learn skills they can apply throughout their career journey.
