-Create 3D mechanical CAD models, drawings, and bill of material (BOM).
-Identify and investigate problems to develop/evaluate options and implement solutions.
-Lead projects, recommend materials, participate in design reviews, develop cost estimates, solve technical problems, provide technical expertise/support, direct engineering activities, and more.
-Work alongside various teams – including engineers, designers, sales, marketing, human resources, manufacturing, supply chain, and purchasing.
-Adhere to safety policies and ensure design safety.
-Create and present visual, written, and oral materials for design reviews, reports, management updates, meetings, etc.
-Effectively communicate with coworkers, management, suppliers, and customers.
-Understand mechanical engineering principles, heat transfer, thermodynamics, chemical reactions, and similar topics.
-Ceramics background a plus
-Manufacturing experience a plus
-Experience in semi-conductor industry a plus
-Knowledge of Creo and/or 3D CAD modeling skills preferred
-Microsoft Office proficiency preferred
-BS in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
-5 years or more as an engineer or in a competing role
*Travel may be required, both domestically and internationally.
