-Perform various routing, dispatching, and material handling tasks
-Meet production schedules and timelines
-Obtain pricing information, purchase components, check on deliveries of order materials, coordinate returns, manage supply chain, input purchase orders, and negotiate contracts
-Work with various teams – including engineering, supply chain, sales, and other departments
-Optimize costs – performing value analysis, target costing, and material group management



-Knowledge of Total Quality Management (TQM) is a plus
-Knowledge of ISO 9001 / continuous improvements policies and procedures are a plus
-Knowledge of large ERP systems preferred
-Microsoft Office skills preferred
-BS in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related discipline
-5 or more years in purchasing, experience in the capital equipment/manufacturing environment
