Integrated Pro/ENGINEER Tools
Integrated Pro/ENGINEER tools and techniques are used to automate functionality and capture a product’s design intent. This approach will increase the use of standard design practices and greatly speed up the design of custom products. Standard automation of Pro/ENGINEER uses tools and techniques such as: Relations, Pro/REPORT, Skeletons, Family Tables and Intelligent Master Models.

Fully Automated Design Applications
Applications using Pro/PROGRAM can be developed which prompt the user for a number of input parameters and then automatically regenerate parts, assemblies and drawings according to design rules and calculations. Often the user interface, rules, calculations and data will reside outside of the Pro/ENGINEER environment in these applications.

ModelCHECK
In many applications, the design must remain fairly flexible while still maintaining certain design rules. In this case, it is not practical to develop a fully automated application. PTC™ has developed an approach called ModelCHECK, which provides users with important engineering information and design rules as well as a set of process steps, which describe the most effective methodology to modeling a specific product. Individual process steps in ModelCHECK can be automated while leaving most of the design interactive and flexible
